Birthday, Hard Rock & Originals

hello! It's 11am on Tuesday morning & I'm still trying to wake myself up, that's been going on for about two hours now. I'm toasting raison bread, and multi tasking with my mouth watering at the thought, I have to look behind me to make sure I'm not burning it.... which I did! ;/ Typical, I'm so good in the kitchen. :/

Anyways I just had a big birthday, another year older... crazy how time flies! I still remember the birthday parties with my friends, building forts, getting barbie dolls as gifts & running around playing pretend. I made a big wish when I blew out my candles but it was the same wish I chose when I was my barbie doll stage, but this time stronger than ever. Big thanks to everyone who sent love my way and all the people there who made it memorable & special. <3 <3 <3 I'll never forget it, I love youuuu rockstarzzz!! 21st :*

I've got lots of things planned ahead and the future is exciting. I'm laying down my originals and hope to record them in DvD format, to introduce you to my new music. I'm working with a talented Video Producer friend from Detroit, and I know the project will turn out amazing. Looking to step into this soon & I'm looking forward to sharing and introducing you to the inside of my head. My note book is full, and I had to start a brand new one... fresh... the newest songs gotta be just that. ;) More to come, don't miss a beat.

Also performed at HRC- Detroit for "The Girls that Rock the Hard Rock Tour" with Fefe Dobson & Deluka, both crazy hard core performers. Hey there cutie pies! :) It's late as usual, I'm tired but refusing to put the effort into getting ready for bed... That’s just boring! ): How CRAZY, it's already the holiday season, literally only a week away before Christmas is here... I repeat ONE WEEK AWAY. I love everything about this time of year, the music, the lights sparkling on the snow, all the old Christmas movies, hot chocolate, & most important being around the people who matter most. Everything about the month of December seems absolutely 100% perfect, wish it didn't end so fast.

We're going to be at the HoHoHo Down at Dooley's Irish Tavern - Sterling Heights, MI on Dec 21st at 9pm (21 and over)!! I realize I haven’t written since I've been back from LA, which was insane! I learned a lot, met with some great people, and kicked some more doors open. During the day I was able to explore LA & the surrounding areas with my family ((they're the best)) then settle in for some late LATE nights in the studio, literally living off Tea, 5 hour Energy & Red bull. I recorded 5 songs out there and that’s about all I can tell you right now but I'm MORE THAN READY to make my trip back :)) Check out some pics below.

LA Update- Photoshoot, Shows, Videos & Dogs

Hiii, hey yo! :) It's been quite the long time since my last "blog" does anyone even read this? haha Well either way I'm up, everyone else I know is asleep so no one to talk to but this thang! I'm really cool :( ha So much is new & so much is going on right now, it's hard to keep everything together, but I'm loving every minute of it & somehow staying sane. I've been pulling songs out of my A#% & writing everyday and I've got lots of new music just hanging out in my beat up notebook. It's less than two weeks now & I'll be heading out to LA, to record & work with some awesome people. To say I'm excited is an understatement, I'm so ready to peace out from Michigan & take that next step. I love my Michiganders, with all I've got, I'm just ready to see what the future holds. Life is such a crazy ride & I'm learning something new everyday. I'll take lots of pics & make sure to post them for all your pretty eyes to see. Sigh** Cross your fingers :D

What else, hmm today my photographer & I scouted out places for the upcoming photoshoot, I think we've got some cool settings & I can't wait to shoot (not guns) but you know. Finally back to posting an actual blog. Whats new?! LOTS. I am going hard core with booking shows, I want to play EVERYDAY, all day. The song is about a lost love, and trying to find a way back to each other. I have an obsession with the sky & stars especially. I wrote a song based around a phrase I repeated in my head for months 'Stargazers.' It's about somehow the stars leading them back together, gazing at them the way they used too. :)

---Anywayssss... here is my thought as of now.

Change is something I'm open too, change is the start to something new something scary but so incredibly exciting. The only way change can happen is if you make it, I am the motivator in that first step and I'm the only person with that power to see if through, (if I really want too.) The future is bright & the sun is shining, but the sun will always shine brighter to the path your heart leans most too. I feel like so many people get lost in the moment, forget what they stand for and the important things in life, suddenly before they know it the things they love, the things they work for vanish, just like that, gone. For whoever may be reading this.... stay true to who you are and never forget what you believe in, don't just follow, you can be your own leader, you have that choice & I so do I :) Life is beautiful thing & you are beautiful. :)

Christmas Show at Younger's Dec 11th

Happy Holidays! :) Start the Holiday season off by spending an evening with ME! I will be at Younger's Irish Tavern in Romeo, Michigan tonight Friday, December 11th with my full band. We will be performing funky renditions of your holiday favorites along with some of my originals and stapled covers. To open the night is musical guest and Romeo Native Sean Earle. While you snowboard I'll make snow angels...

I love Christmas time! :) It makes me feel so happy and thankful as well as very overwhelmed and stressed, but more so happy & thankful. This year I think I may try skiing or snowboarding or maybe I'll just bring a sled and use that while my friends show off their crazy winter sport skills. I'll just nonchalantly carry my sled on the ski lift like it's no big deal, maybe i'll just pretend the sleds a snowboard and I'll stand up on that... on flat ground of course, that seems ALOT safer than a hill. :) Or while there jumping ramps and all that pro snowboarding stuff that they do maybe i'll just spend my time making snow angels or building a snow man or charging people for a sled ride with my handy sled I brought, wow I have so many different options. I'm making myself laugh out loud at how dumb I sound right now and just the thought of doing any of this, which by the way I will not do cause how embarrasing? I think i'll just take the chance and snowboard. ha ANWYAYS Im glad I carried that on this far. hmm I'm enjoying life to the very fullest right now I'm getting things in order for my next upcoming shows Dec 11th @ Younger's-Romeo MI 8pm $10 Christmas Show & Dec 17th @ Hard Rock Cafe'- Detroit MI 8pm benefiting Variety Childrens Charity $5. (hint, hint you should come to both of them!) Also I've began shooting for my first MUSIC VIDEO for my song 'World Turns Dark' & I'm also making a behind the scenes video of the process, I'm super stoked & having so much fun. I'm working with great people that I'm proud to have in my camp. Life just feels really good right now, I feel more determined and focused now than even before. I’ve been busy with rehearsals, I’m working with my producer Michael Kings band on his project. He’s asked me to help out with some of his shows back up singing & singing my own material. It’s extremely cool & definitely a lot different than what I’m used to, but I love learning new things. We’re now rehearsing for a show at Birmingham First United Methodist Church on Nov 21st, it’s a benefit concert for Samaritan Counseling Center. I’m in the process of pre-production with my new music video. Some very cool ideas are being tossed out & it’s all very exciting. I’m working with a badass video guy of RMA productions. He thinks outside of the box & wants things to be right, he’s great. I'm looking forward to begin the process of shooting. This will be my first music video, so this IS a big deal for me. =)

it's a new day, good morning! Alot is new, loving life. :) I recently got the chance to be on FOX2- Detroit in the morning it went great, I want to thank everyone there again for being so very cool to me & inviting me out to sing. Also just got done doing another show at the Hard Rock Cafe' Detroit, thanks to all the supporters who came out. I love you madly. This past weekend I did a show in my hometown R-O-M-E-O.... it's been 5 years since I performed there. Thanks to Youngers Irish Tavern & all the awesome people who came out. Mwah! I'm now in the works right now with setting up more shows there as well as other sweeet venues. Here are a few pics from the events...

Anyways last night I decided to introduce my grandma to the 'Twilight' movie. It's been a while since I watched it, & if you ever want to be inspired watch that. I am not ashamed to say I am a Twilight junkie, like freakin obsessed with it along with the rest of the human population. Take the TIMEEE to read the books it's worth it, trust me. I'm so excited for the second movie, I'm for sure purchasing the tickets beforehand & wouldn't be like me if I didn't dress for the occasion. I will def. be sporting the 'Team Vampire' shirt. lol Count on it... pshh get it? "COUNT" ... on it... vampires?? ehh lol k i'm done
